On the rare occasion that Jesus lost His patience with His disciples came when His students failed to relieve the suffering of the people who sought their help. there was never a time that Jesus excused His disciples for failing to heal the sick; never did Jesus say that God didn’t want to heal. Success may not be easy and it is certainly not universal, but finding reasons to accept suffering cannot be given place in our minds or language. The Bible is clear; we are limited to what we can believe, not what is available. There is a concept in the Kabbalah that says that prayer is not intended to request things that are missing but to accept that our desires are providential and our prayers should request strength to receive and to perform.
